It’s going to be battle royal at the box office next Tamil New Year’s day.
Come April 2007, Rajinikanth’s Sivaji is expected to hit the screens. Also Kamal Haasan’s Dasavatharam featuring the actor in 10 different roles is also reportedly hitting the screens.
The battle between Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth’s movies at the box-office is always viewed with interest.
The last time they had their releases on the same day was during the Tamil New Year’s day of 2005. Rajinikanth’s Chandramukhi and Kamal Haasan’s Mumbai Xpress were released on the same day.
But this time around, the hot money is on both the movies becoming blockbusters.
And that is indeed good news for the industry.
