The sneak peak of the Wordpress 2.5 is out and it has created much hype about it new interface. The admin interface is totally remastered and customizable to an extend. One more highlighted feature is the automatic plugins update in a single click. Well the actual release is almost out soon with hopefully all the bugs fixed. Below are some of the hopes I have on Wordpress 2.5

  • Hopefully the the annoying bug in Safari for the visual editor to be fixed
  • Hopefully more flexibility in dashboard (customizable)
  • Hopefully more friendly widget access and options
  • Hopefully what ever promised by the dev team to become reality

Well the hopefully list could keep going on, but what really matters now is to thank the development team at automattic for a wonderful blogging software all this years. And hopefully they would continue providing more and more upgrades as things become more easier to use. By the way there was rumor regarding Gravatar to be pre built into the Wordpress 2.5. Well I’m yet to see it. Eagerly waiting for the upgrade. Will post a full postmortem once I have got my hands on it.
