The Nokia Tube, a new phone model that Nokia claims to be the iPhone Killer. Well Nokia are claiming that they have worked really hard on this phone model. One of the Nokia VP’s mentioned that Nokia will be able to ship more then what Apple has done with its iPhone currently(5 to 6 million devices). The statement by Tom Libretto

“We’ve done that [volume] since we’ve had dinner on Friday,” he said.

Well the only reason I see that Nokia will be able to this is because of their domination in various Asian countries and the fact they do not tie up with any mobile service providers. Likewise iPhone restricts to particular providers which in some sense is good. We will have to wait for more reviews to find out if Nokia actually manages to outrun the iPhone. Which I believe is impossible. :)
