Over the years, since the era of “The Keys” and beyond, Mannin Mainthargal’s have come a long way. It’s amazing to see their little yet effective contributions to the local media scene development. When we speak in terms of Quality and Quantity, In the recent years there have been vast improvements in this sectors. For example achieving albums such as Yogi B’s Vallavan, Saran’s Paarvai, and Bionic Asura. This tracks have seriously lived up its standards. 

As we pursuit the future, I had high hopes that the quality and quantity of Mannin Mainthargal would keep increasing. But over the week, I had been thinking again. 

The amount of opportunity and publicity receive by Yogi B and Dr.Burn international has boomed up by performances in movies such as Sivi & Poladhavan. In addition to that, Sun Music kindly promoted this guys with video tracks being repeatedly aired. 

What happens when you are given too many opportunities at the same time ? Well if producers would have been wise enough, they would have made full use of it. There you go, a major recent crap from Yogi B in Kuruvi ! Bringing down tremendous expectations. Why am I highlighting this ? Cause I strongly believe that such mess in Kuruvi could seriously effect the overall Mannin Mainthargal reputations.

I read a couple of reviews on Kuruvi’s Audio from some India Bloggers. “Yogi B, get out of Tamil Cinema! ” Statements like this are not one or two. Its uncountable if you would include word of mouth. Such statements could bring disaster to other Malaysian Indian branded artist. Its a major setback from the way I see it. Maybe future opportunities for other artist would still be around but due to this incident, it could be very slim. 

At the same time, Yogi B should not be blamed. He has bagged an entry to International scenes on behalf of the Mannin Mainthargal. So for that, people should be proud. What concerns me is the awareness of importance in the quality and quantity. So what’s next for Double M’s in India?

If opportunities are yet to be taken for granted, then there will be a 100% major setback in the future. As listeners and supporters , all we could do is vote for you, support for you, discriminate piracy, and market tracks for you. The rest from audio quality to performance quantity are in your pure hands. To Summarize it , the future of Mannin Mainthargals are in the hands of Mannin Mainthargals. So producers, listen up !
