Are we having too much information around ? Are we forcing our selfs to stuff all that informations into our head? Should we care to know about all? The answer is no. I came out to talk about this just after reading Chris Pirillo’s post regarding information overload post and how to deal with it. Below is an extract from his post.

The problem today isn’t that there’s not enough information. There’s too much. It’s not there aren’t ways to publish content on the Internet - there are an abundance. A lot of noise comes with that signal. So we’ve got different problems than we used to have. Information used to be handed to us from “on high”, as recently as a decade ago. Nowadays, information is just literally everywhere. It’s overwhelming at times. It’s impossible for me to keep up with the news aggregator, the email, the social networks…

So much information, we today rely on machines to help us. Well some would say, that’s why in the first place machines was built. To some extent, I believe we should have control over certain things and not going KAPUT.

There is Google, Wikipedia, news aggregators, emails and the social networks. But all this kind of looses it humanly touch. I personally agree to some point that, If I was to seek an information, I would rather visit a blog of someone whom I know that I could get a direct answer.

If I have a good number of followers on twitter, I would throw out my questions and receive a variety of answers. If I own a blog, I would try to at least build a knowledgeable community that could answer my questions. Rather than old fashion forums, where we post questions and receive answers from people you may not know if they are reliable.

I strongly believe, building a community of your own, and getting most out of it, is what humanly information is all about. Make it live, make it happening. It takes time to get your own community but carry on. As in a roundup, grow your community through your blog, micro blogging networks such as twitter, live streams and etc.. Or/as well get involved in blogs of people whom you know. Communicate with blogs/microblogs. Forums/Networks are for machine bots that dig though sites. We are human’s. Lets remain as one.
