The internet is way open that encourages various responds from people all over the world. But to everything there is a limit. Why limits? It’s simply because we want to grow a healthy community. One that helps and not leave ridiculous statements in this open space. It’s all about a community. Its a soul to any type of civilization. May it be real or virtual, it does not matter. 

Sometimes unmoderated, things may go wild. May it be technology, productivity or politics. Over here at Saranx.com, I certainly do enforce strict moderation as to ensure that every commenter in this blog has a responsibility to this community. 

Let’s look in depth on why such moderations are needed in communities such as saranx.com. 

• Heathy Community - Moderation helps a community to be more productive and heathy in sense of clean and with no vulgarism involved. Communities are often exposed to the young and therefore it’s one responsibility to encourage healthy habits to one rather than rage. 
• Maintaining Friendliness - It’s highly important that friendliness is taken into consideration when growing a knowledgeable community. This encourages everyone to stay on at a respected community. People with clear & clean mind. Souls with sincerity that throws wisdom in. 
• Encourages Help - A clean and respected community leads to a more sincere one. Therefore, this would encourage one to help another in a community. To share what is known and not to fake it out. 

Once, there is a common mindset evolved in a community, moderation would then not be necessary. The community has to be inclined with the style and flow of a creator. And when that is accomplished, everything shall be left to the hands of the community and let them to decide if a particular comment should be published or not.

One of the toughest and most productive work is to come up with solid ideas. Many people experienced serious blackouts and stress while coming up with such ideas. I decided to look into certain ways & situation that would encourage us to pour more productive thoughts. This are ways of how I successfully came up with ideas. Some may sound strange but it sure did work for me. 

Shower - This is most productive place I would say. Often I do come up with thought when I’m engaged in a hot shower. Your mind is relaxed at that time, therefore I presume when we are relaxed, we tend to be more productive as well. 

Text Edit/Notepad - Common and simplest application available on Mac’s and PC’s. This has helped a bunch. Setting up a Future Post Ideas folder for me, encourages me to jot down ideas in text edit softwares and saving it for later reference. However, this not only applies for post but also for others. Do keep specific folders. For example : New Venture Ideas.

Plain Paper - Many have claim this as to be the best. To me often it does not seem to work out very well. I do tend to misplace pieces of papers and leading to a lost of a valuable idea perhaps. I would recommend something digitalized at any point of time. 

Electronic Devices - Notes and to-do’s in phones have helped me a lot. When ever I stumble upon an idea, I would immediately jot down on my phones for later transfers to my idea folders. This happens often as I do not carry around my notebook everywhere. Inspirations may flow from any place. For example in the flower market. The only gadget that is with me is a phone. So do utilize it to the maximum. 

Electronic Medium - Emails. I constantly email my self when I have an idea. On the mac, the mail software is very useful as it allow you to mail your selfs notes. It works well at class too. Alternatively, you could email your self using to-do’s found on most web mail applications such as Gmail. There is even tons of social media application on the internet for this but nothing beats the mails and other techniques listed above.

Are you a Mac user? How often do you use your Mac Mail program to sort out your RSS feeds? I have noticed many users tend to use NetNewsWire and so on to sort out respective RSS feeds. Many fail to realize the potential of Mac mail. 

I use Mac mail for most of GTD’s. Getting things done has never been easier. I have multiple mail accounts on mail, to-do’s made on iCal listed here, Notes made, and yes my RSS subscriptions. For the best, all this are built in with the Mac Mail software. It comes now with all Leopard machines actually. 

RSS feeds could be sorted out in many ways. It all depends on how you like it. As for me I love it Decentralized. I do not like them to be separated into categories or so. The reason is simply because, I tend to overlook certain categories and therefore I lacked on new informations. I kind of love to just look at all the subscriptions at once. 

But that does not mean you cant organize your RSS feeds neatly on Mac Mail. Which many fail in sense of thinking that having separate programs would do so. At times, there maybe a slowdown but that’s generally because of the Internet Connections. I would not want to complicate my life by having too many programs. Therefore I’m glad to say I have utilized most out my built in Mac Applications. The best part is, Mail, iCal, Address Book, and few other application are synced with one and another. That’s productivity!

It’s time for another of my weekly Friday post on Mannin Mainthargals. Well today, I’m just looking at some different angles on the whole picture of Mannin Mainthargals. Media Blogs. There are many new Mannin Mainthargal related media blogs born every 6 months once or so. But do all of them succeed? Im on a journey today to look into this issue in depth. 

First, lets look at some facts regarding Mannin Mainthargal Media & Niched Blogs.

• Small Niche - This niche chosen by many, in general terms is very small. It’s very narrow. When I say narrow, I am referring to readership.
• Breaking News Volume - There’s nothing much breaking everyday. Most to most valuable news breaks you could get maybe would be twice a month or slightly more.
• Industry Content - The Mannin Mainthargal Industry is very small. You cant expect to get information overload out of this industry at the moment. 

Lots of minds who run Double M media blogs/sites have a mindset that people from all over the world would be interested and therefore Double M’s would be exposed to such. That’s utterly wrong. So my primary focus of this post would be to find out how could media blogs enlarge and grow a solid readership. 

SEO & User Friendly - First do a check on your SEO status. Is your blog or site optimized to a substantial level? Make sure you’ve done all that. Have your RSS options shined. Promote subscriptions. Select a great free design if you are not ready for a custom design. 

Original Content - Do not repeat the same news over and over again. You may bore your readers in a long run. Since there are not much of news available, come up with reasonable original new contents. Develop articles on specific issues. A caution here is to develop contents that no other competitor has done in order to dominate the topic first. 

Forget about Audio Streaming - It’s no point having MP3’s on site or even having them streamed back on your site. There’s Imeem or Last.fm out there. Make use of them. This would promote your blog or site on a social media platform. There is more exposure there. Give links or us widgets that shows your playlist on those social audio networks. 

New Media - Coming up with original articles is fine but you have chosen a media rich niche. Its a new media trend running along. In order to be new and fresh, come up with new medias such as Podcasting and Video Shows. Let your news shine on videos. Gather a group of people and shoot occasionally. Forget about interviews or so. Make original contents. Trust me that’s what a reader would want. Be your own superstar. Talk to your subscribed community. Video post always has a reach in terms of Media. BTW, it does not need to be professional. Amateur videos are always the best. Same goes with podcasting with just a little general guideline would do. 

Blogging needs a lots of efforts and consistency. It’s a long term effort in business. Do not expect any gains much fast. It may take years but never give up. If you are prepared for that, you would be giving your readers a breeze already. Every subscriber is your jewel. They aspect to have at least something new to read on their readers everyday. It is common for bloggers to feel over stressed and de-motivated when things don’t seem to be right. When I say things, I would mainly refer to statistics growth and readership. I do know how it does feel. Trust me I have experienced it. But I kind off found my way to motivate my self in order to post better. Just to share, here are some quick techniques that may help you if you are a blogger and currently de-motivated.

Love what we do - We may know this as most of us blog as a passion but not many practices much as said. Forget about negative feedbacks and do what you love best. Do keep going on. Blogging is a long term approach. May it take years. Keep reminding your self. Your goal will come soon if I blog harder. 

Forget Statistics - Don’t let the numbers hit your head. Let it be number of hits or page-views, your goal is to provide the internet space with something valuable. If you appreciate the effort made to get a post out, well sure would the blogosphere soon enough. 

Subscribers Amount - May it be 10 or 20, It doesn’t matter. Feel good with the 10 or 20 people who are following, reading and interested with you and your content. Treat every reader as your jewel. Trace out their favorites with Feedburner stat’s like I did in my recent post and find out what’s their choice of content. Focus on that particular type of content. It would be soon enough that your readership would increase. There will be always someone who would read your content at some point in time. 

Passion & Interest - Keep the flame burning in you. No matter what you blog about, do it with sincerity. As time go on, it will become a lifestyle on it’s own and I bet you would love it. I have started to love it. Remember, it’s all about time and patience
