Chris Brogan wrote a very strong post today. He talked about the importance of having a Goal besides just having a strategy with no lead. Well he sure is true on that. Lets just dive in a little.

Keeping strategy focused at your goal. Before planning a strategy, ask your selfs on what do you want to achieve first. For example, I have a goal which is to obtain a 20% increase on my feeds subscriptions. In order to that I would now outline a strategy such as posting more frequent and maybe participating in more lively communities.

But commonly we tend to over plan or overlook things. Keep goals and strategies realistic. Do not aim for a gold mine in a day. Having goals such as obtaining 20,000 subscribers tomorrow and a strategy of a non stop post cycle. You are going to drain out and such goal’s are never possible. Optimize yourself. Set goals that suit you not others. Be your self. Show your efforts wisely and everything else would follow.
