Can I answer this in a couple of sentences? The answer is “YES”.

Why cant I just use twitter, flickr, youtube and so to just throw my content away?

  • Well, here’s the problem, people have limited time.
  • They do not exist on all communities.
  • If they like you they follow you. 
  • You need to have a home base.
  • Somewhere people can keep up with what you do.
  • You are becoming some kind of celebrity your self.
  • Go ahead, claim your self an internet superstar.
  • If you want that title, you need that work your ass off.
  • Once again you need a home base to prove your self professional enough.
  • You are your brand.
  • Or the author is the human of a brand you are spreading.
  • Everyone is becoming a star.
  • Make your blog a home base to gain your credibility of being a superstar.
