No doubt, the title is for for real. If someone has not shift to Facebook yet, I ask you to do so. The most professional and sleek profile anyone could have on the internet. Since day one, I was always against social network profiles such as Friendster or MySpace. The reason was simple, It was crap. You feel like you are involved in some fairyland with no professionalism at all. And MySpace, it only applies if you are a rock star or a wannabe.
When I first had a look at Facebook, it attracted me so much. My first impressions on it was so high as I started mass promoting and convincing people to have it as a prime social internet profile.
Since then, many have benefitted from it. From entrepreneurs to teenagers. Everyone on my list looks professional now. To add on to the benefits regarding business, one of my friend, Ravinder who is currently a club D.J in Australia, gets his offers from Facebook. How? Clubs are on Facebook as well. They would put up an offer on the job boards and simply anyone could give a go. What I’m trying to point out here is that, it makes every aspect of you professional. Even if you are just sharing photos. Impressive?
In terms of privacy, Facebook is the ultimatum. It makes you feel more safer regarding who sees what on your profile. At the same time, the typical crowd on facebook are mostly professional in attitude. You don’t get much of the punk crowd that worries you all the time on what are they actually up to. In a more friendly community, its fun to share about your self and interact with friendly people. Now that’s Facebook!
Future proofing is what I love most on Facebook. The founders never fails to get the company continuously funded and to grow on with cool new features. Recently according to a Techcrunch post, Facebook will soon remove a limitation that restricts users to no more than 5,000 friend connections. Now that’s good though most people would have an average of 500 friends but this helps in a long run. You meet new people every day/month/year. This would eventually lead up to a great number. Such moves are definitely great news.
Besides that, famous people are on Facebook as well, below are a list of few people who are on Facebook.
